Turnkey Methodology >>
Advantor Systems uses a turnkey systems
solutions approach to meet each client's unique
requirements. This approach incorporates a broad
range of manufactured and third-party technology
to deliver fully integrated solutions via the
following project phases:
Site Survey
The site survey includes a physical survey of
the resources to be protected, as well as
existing electronic security measures and
supporting infrastructure (communications &
power) already in place. Information about the
site conditions, environmental factors, threat
assessment, applicable regulations and
operational procedures are gathered and then
incorporated into the system design.
System Design
The design phase begins with a conceptual design
that documents the overall framework and
operational concepts for the integrated security
system. The conceptual design is submitted to
the client for review and
evaluation/modification based on local site and
operational conditions. Once finalized,
supporting schedules are developed that itemize
materials, labor and site support requirements
which are used to generate a firm fixed price
quotation.
Pre-installation
Logistics Support
Components are integrated and assembled prior to
shipment, including a pre-delivery factory
acceptance test, if desired. For OCONUS
projects, Advantor coordinates all export
packaging and documentation needed for
international delivery. Prior to commencement of
the installation, an Advantor project manager
will visit the site to review the Statement of
Work, including a detailed review of the
construction schedule. All installation issues
will be resolved during the preconstruction
meeting.
System Installation &
Training
System installation will be under direct
supervision of an Advantor project manager
assigned on-site. The project manager will be
empowered to make any necessary decisions in
support of the project completion. Weekly
projected reviews will be conducted with the
COTR, and progress will be tracked using
Microsoft Project scheduling software. Training
will be conducted on site for system operations,
Administrators, Badging, and if desired,
technical support personnel. Upon completion of
training, certification testing will be
conducted.
Project Documentation
Documentation includes pre-installation and
post-installation document packages that are
described in the project Statement of Work.
Typically, these include a system design
concept, itemized BOM, installation plans,
wiring diagrams, product specifications,
operations manuals and maintenance manuals upon
project completion. These packages can be
customized to meet individual project
requirements.
System Sustainability &
Support
24-hour global telephone and website support is
maintained through our Answer Center in Orlando,
Florida. Specific sustainability and support
plans are individually developed for each
project, and can incorporate depot level parts
support, on-site preventive maintenance,
recertification testing, on-site service, or
even full-time local system administration.
