Mark De Long

Senior Director and General Manager

Mark De Long serves as the Senior Director and General Manager for Advantor Systems, overseeing all operational and financial management responsibilities. He brings over 20 years of executive experience in service operations, financial operations, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Advantor, Mark worked for V2X and Vectrus Systems Corporation for 7 years in multiple leadership positions in support of the Department of Defense, Department of Treasury, Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Transportation. Prior to his civilian career, Mark served 8 years of distinguished service in the US Army and Army Reserve, including multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Task Force Strike, and Task Force Rugged. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a master’s degree in information technology from Penn State University, and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Jeffrey Whirley

President

As Advantor’s President, Mr. Whirley has focused on the growth of the company through expansion of existing markets, identification of new markets, and the strategic positioning in the security market. Involved in commercial, industrial, and national security for over 50 years and beginning his career in defense engineering, after graduation from the University of Cincinnati. His executive experience has included leading business units based in both the U.S. and abroad. In the past 30 years, his attention has been the development of systems integration business for Advantor, including design, provisioning, training, and lifecycle support of these turnkey systems. During this period Mr. Whirley was instrumental in the development of Advantor System’s Department of Defense electronic security systems business as well as developing a specialized high security practice in WMD Security under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation initiatives of the US Government, working with the Department of State, Department of Energy and the National Laboratories.

Emily Staggs

Director of Sales and Design

As Director of Sales and Design, Emily leads Advantor’s Inside and Outside Sales groups as well as the Design Engineers and Drafting teams that work in support of Sales. Emily is a dedicated and experienced professional with over 20 years of experience in the company.  She started her journey as a Technical Writer in 2004 and quickly moved up the ranks to run Advantor Systems’ Training Department for over 15 years before landing into her position now.

Jennifer Rivas

Director of Operations

As the Director of Operations, Ms. Rivas is responsible for oversight and leadership of Advantor’s Field Operations Division, including the Installations, Services, and Training Departments. Ms. Rivas has over 15 years of experience in Federal and commercial contracting, logistics, and operations leadership. Ms. Rivas joined Advantor in August 2006 and has served in a wide variety of areas and roles. Prior to her current position, Ms. Rivas served as Advantor’s Director of Contracts and Fulfillment where she was responsible for leadership and oversight of Advantor’s Contracting, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse, Systems Integration, and Quality Assurance. Ms. Rivas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from University of Central Florida, certificates in Security Management and Federal Contracting, and is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager as designated by the National Contract Management Association.

Amarilies Davila

Director of Fulfillment

As the Director of Fulfillment, Ms. Davila is responsible for the oversight and leadership of Advantor’s product division including Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warehouse and Systems Integration. Ms. Davila has extensive experience in Federal and commercial contracting as well as operations leadership. Ms. Davila joined Advantor in 2011 and has served in a wide variety of roles within the contracts division. Prior to her current position, Ms. Davila served as Advantor’s Associate Director of Contracts where she was responsible for oversight of the Contracts department. Ms. Davila holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida. In addition, Ms. Davila also holds a Professional Certificate in Contract Management from Duke University.

Charlotte Castillo

Contracts Manager

Joining Advantor Systems in 2019, Charlotte Castillo, the Contracts Manager, is responsible for the oversight and leadership of Advantor’s Contracting team. Ms. Castillo brings experience in both Federal and commercial contracting, subcontracting and is responsible for the management of Advantor’s Federal Supply Schedule.  Prior to her current position, Ms. Castillo worked in various roles in Advantor’s contracting department, including over 8 years of experience in compliance and operational management. Ms. Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Framingham State University in Massachusetts as well as certificates in Federal Contracting from Duke University Continuing Studies program.

Jackie Letsch

Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager at Advantor, Ms. Letsch has an extensive background in finance from a project accountant with a wealth of experience, particularly in the government contracting sector. With international experience at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany she has a well-rounded understanding of global financial projects. With over 15 years of experience in the finance sector, she brings a deep understanding of financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Ms. Letsch previously held a position at V2X and Vectrus Systems Corporation provided her with a solid foundation in financial management.

James Fultz

Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement

James Fultz is the Director of Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement, under his leadership, he oversees the development, management, implementation and sustainability of all quality assurance and improvement activities, compliance procedures and safety and risk management programs. Mr. Fultz graduated from the University of Missouri State with a Bachelors in Marketing as well as a MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He has a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification as well as a Quality Engineer and Manager Certification. His intricate background in Quality Control has allowed him the ability to bring a unique perspective to the Advantor team.

Bill Orr

Information Technology Manager

Bill Orr is the Information Technology Manager for Advantor Systems.  In this role, he is responsible for all IT-related systems and activities.  He brings over 40 years of experience in all aspects of IT, from AI to XML.  Prior to joining Advantor Systems, Bill worked for Mobil Oil Corporation, General Mills Restaurant Group.  Mr. Orr was a principal with PC Performance Centers, a computer consulting firm, specializing in LANs and Personal Computers. Next, Bill was a principal with Salient Technologies, an IT consulting firm, specializing in small/medium businesses.  Mr. Orr holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Central Florida.
